I graduated from Northern Iowa in 1995 with a master’s degree in psychology and worked at Four Oaks for ten years. In 2001, I joined the Cedar Rapids Police Department and worked patrol until I retired in 2020.
I was involved in Scouting myself for five years when I was young. I got involved again when my son crossed over into Boy Scouts in 2023. I served as Assistant Scoutmaster for much of that first year. I stepped into my current role as Scoutmaster at the beginning of 2025.
I enjoy watching the Scouts learn leadership and teach each other the life skills that help them advance in rank. I look forward to helping every scout achieve their goals.
